Amanda Shepler (lead writer) has more than 15 years of professional working experience with a variety of clients including school districts, institutes of higher education, charter schools, community-based agencies, tribal governments, municipalities, art and education agencies, youth service agencies, business ventures and start-ups, mental health agencies, hospitals and clinics, museums, and planetariums. She has won more than $100 million in grants for clients, including nearly $2M for Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Tribe. Amanda has a master’s degree in History from Buffalo State College (2006) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Studies in Education (2003). She has worked in the nonprofit arena since 1997 starting as Program Coordinator for the Boys and Girls Clubs.
