Teens Turn Words into Money//at Murrieta USD

 

Shivela seventh graders are the first in the country to go through a grant writing curriculum called Art of the Dollar/Turn Your Words into Money.  The program was developed by Beverly Santicola, grant writer and founder of the Center for Rural Outreach & Public Services, Inc. (CROPS) - a nonprofit dedicated to growing a new generation of leaders for the future.

WIN MORE GRANTS// new workshops scheduled

Several more "Win More Grants" are being scheduled so watch for training workshops in your area. Past workshop sponsors in are already scheduling for a repeat performance by USGG due to rave reviews.  

If there are no workshops scheduled in your area and you are able to recruit a minimum of 20 people to attend, we'll bring the workshop to you. Call for details.

Santicola Shares Story//with President Clinton ​ 

At a national conference on Rural Philanthropy in Little Rock, Arkansas, Beverly Santicola, Executive Director of the Center for Rural Outreach & Public Services, Inc. (or CROPS), had the opportunity to meet former President Bill Clinton and give him a copy of CROPS' Growing Rural DVD and book. 

Growing Rural is a national award winning program that teaches youth problem solving skills and grant writing for youth led rural development.
